Our company is growing rapidly, and we are seeking a talented and ambitious Sales Executive to help drive the next phase of growth.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Sales Executive to join our team and drive revenue growth for our flagship brand, the New Tropic in Miami. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of qualified leads, managing new and existing client relationships, and working closely with our Editorial and Management teams to deliver sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate conversations with prospective leads and respond to inbound sales inquiries
  • Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers at organizations in Miami
  • Deliver sales targets set by the Board
  • Develop innovative sales approaches to help Whereby Publishing Inc stand out from the competition
  • Represent the company at relevant meetings and events in Miami, developing relationships across the target sectors
  • Provide insights and feedback obtained from commercial conversations to inform our marketing and proposition development
  • Work closely with colleagues to refine our sales processes, including identifying suitable tools and data sets to expedite lead generation
  • Diligently track and report on weekly activity and key accounts
  • Be a key point of contact for prospective and existing clients, becoming a trusted partner to clients

Requirements

  • You have experience working in a sales or business development role, ideally within media, newsletters, communications tools, or advertising
  • You have a proven track record of building a sustained pipeline of leads and managing these within traditional CRM
  • You have developed a network of contacts across multiple sectors in Miami and surrounding areas
  • You can think laterally and creatively, and have experience in pitching and presenting to clients
  • You have a passion for digital media and can clearly articulate the value of this medium and how it can complement or replace existing elements of an organization's communications strategy

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, commission, and equity package (considered after a year's employment). This is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.
