Position Summary

The eCommerce Product Management Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and sustaining the online product strategy and catalog. This position requires close collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to ensure that the MiaDonna product lineup is precise, fashionable, and financially viable. This role is essential for driving revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction through ongoing product innovation and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Product Oversight:

  • Define MiaDonna's product range to resonate with the brand identity and target market.
  • Oversee the eCommerce product catalog, including product variations, vendor SKUs, ordering workflows, timelines, and product assets such as CAD files, render images, and specification sheets.
  • Manage and supervise diamond data feeds.
  • Collaborate with management and suppliers to develop new products or variations for both online and physical retail channels based on fashion trends and sales forecasts.
  • Select and curate products for photoshoots and visual marketing assets.
  • Assist in product and image selection for website promotional banners and featured products.
  • Coordinate with both external and internal stakeholders on the creation of new product assets.

Market Analysis & Competitive Research:

  • Educate MiaDonna personnel on prevailing fashion trends and product details for application on our eCommerce platform, blog, and advertising channels to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
  • Conduct thorough market research on current fashion trends and product data.
  • Perform routine competitor product and pricing evaluations.
  • Generate regular reports on product performance, including pricing, margins, and inventory levels.
  • Analyze customer feedback to inform product selection, presentation, and promotional strategies.

Web Product Detail Page (PDP) Management:

  • Administer and maintain Shopify PDPs, ensuring that product listings are accurate and current.
  • Uphold visual standards for PDPs and guarantee information accuracy.
  • Provide insights on website and mobile app functionality and navigation to enhance user experience.
  • Create PDP landing pages for marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and photographers to produce and upload new images and videos.
  • Work alongside the social media team to feature specific products on PDPs.
  • Maintain PDP content, including reviews, pricing, descriptions, and alt tags.

Product Profitability:

  • Monitor product profit margins and make adjustments to meet financial targets.
  • Identify high-margin SKUs and merchandise them effectively online.

Additional Duties:

  • Engage in supplementary projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management, product management, eCommerce, sales, or marketing.
  • Ability to process and simplify extensive data effectively.
  • Strong grasp of current fashion trends and market research methodologies.
  • Experience with Shopify and managing product detail pages.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Proficient in analyzing data and customer feedback to inform decision-making.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Preferred: Background in fine jewelry products.
