Job Opportunity

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is seeking a skilled Cardiologist to join our team in the D.C./Suburban Maryland service area.

We offer a unique opportunity for a physician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States. Our healthcare delivery model is industry-leading, providing access to advanced technological tools and comprehensive practice support.

As a salaried physician, you will not be subject to alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, allowing you to focus on treating the whole patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing left-side ablation, pulmonary vein isolation, and VT ablation procedures
  • Working with contemporary device implant and management systems
  • Three days of EP lab/procedure time per week
  • Two days of office time per week, dedicated reading time for Device clinic
  • Shared call with other EPs in the region: one weekend in four
  • General Cardiology call two weekends per year

Requirements:

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Cardiology
  • Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship required
  • Lead/device extraction preferred
  • Interest in program building & leadership preferred
  • Current licensure or ability to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
  • Work visa sponsorship available for eligible applicants

Estimated Salary Range: $470,000 - $550,000 annually, depending on skills and qualifications. We also offer rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
