Electrical Field Service Specialist

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the installation, inspection, and testing of customer equipment, as well as troubleshooting and adjusting or replacing faulty components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to interpret blueprints and service documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the coordination and execution of field services projects on customer sites.
- Provides support to Level 2 and Level 3 Field Service Representatives in the removal of electrical equipment.
- Interprets blueprints and other service documents, including specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.
- Performs basic audits of customer electrical systems and equipment.
- Documents all required information for each site, including technical reports.
- Communicates with Project Coordinators to ensure smooth execution.
- Properly documents, labels, and returns defective parts to the designated disposal/repair location.
Requirements:
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship (8,000 hours) or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Military experience as a Navy Nuclear Electronic Technician or Electrician's Mate.
- Electrical start-up and testing experience, including circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, PLCs, and capacitor banks.
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language.
Work Schedule:
This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of nights, weekends, and holidays based on customer demands.
