The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, with experience operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis. A keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for this role.

About the Job
  • Job Type: Full-time, Contract Position
  • Location: Albany, Oregon
  • Shift: 10 hours/day, 36 hours/week
  • Salary: $85-$105 per hour (dependent on experience)

The successful candidate will be responsible for positioning patients for CT scans, setting controls on imaging equipment, and monitoring patients during procedures. They will also assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast media as required. Other duties include evaluating CT scans for technical quality, collating processed images, and labeling them correctly.

Requirements
  • Certification: ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required
  • Experience: Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
  • Licensure: Most states require licensure
  • Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail
