Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our innovative cardiovascular program. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS, you will play a critical role in preparing and operating cardiovascular imaging equipment, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
This position requires certification in radiologic technology and previous experience in a procedural area, as well as the ability to collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals. About the Role- Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and assess patient condition, providing personalized care and attention.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will have the opportunity to serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training. This role also offers opportunities for professional growth and development, with a focus on maintaining strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications- Certification in radiologic technology (ARRT) or RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International).
- Previous experience in a procedural area, preferably in a cath lab setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
Norman Regional Health System offers a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
