Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Centralized Sterile Technician II to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a key member of our sterile processing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care by maintaining a clean and sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment to ensure they are safe for patient use.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of sterile supplies, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of sterile supplies and equipment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including nursing staff, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or completion of healthcare organization training program, as required by location.
  • Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location.
  • Minimum one (1) year of related experience preferred.
