Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Time Line Cook to join our team at Au Cheval. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for cooking and preparing menu items to the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies, ensuring proper inventory control.
  • Cook and prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff according to the Hogsalt Recipe Index.
  • Answer, report to, and follow instructions and direction from Sous Chef, Executive Chef, or other leadership.
  • Properly clean and break down station at the end of service, ensuring all food handling and food storage standards are met.
  • Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations at all times.
Requirements
  • 1 year of cooking experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and stooping.
