Job Summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a skilled CMM Technician to join our team. As a CMM Technician, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and generating CMM programs, and using the CMM and other measuring equipment to dimensionally inspect and verify production and prototype parts, components, assemblies, and tooling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain CMM programs to ensure accurate and efficient inspection processes
  • Operate CMM and other measuring equipment to inspect and verify production and prototype parts, components, assemblies, and tooling
  • Document and report inspection results in a timely manner
  • Read and interpret blueprints and Manufacturing Process Sheets to determine inspection requirements
  • Support corporate continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare inspection reports for internal and customer purposes
  • Adhere to safety policies and standards, and maintain good housekeeping practices around the CMM area
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED, certificate in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent work experience
  • PolyWorks/CAPPs software knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading
