Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer to lead our project management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project management, and engineering design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering review, coordination, and oversight of operations and maintenance, repair, and construction work
  • Oversee and coordinate activities with the trade shops, including prioritization of work, review of ongoing projects, and inspection of installed equipment
  • Develop cost estimates, documents, and reports
  • Coordinate energy program and analyzing utility costs
  • Provide afterhours engineering services in the event of an emergency
  • Manage project design and/or construction efforts, to include schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight
  • Manage and evaluate construction contractor performance
  • Integrate and coordinate projects with field personnel
  • Evaluate, validate, and manage project change requests
  • Provide official weekly project status reports
  • Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Twelve (12) years' of experience in civil engineering
  • Five (5) years' of specialized experience in the assigned field (e.g. high voltage power, mechanical systems, fire protection, construction, etc.)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Registration desired
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in physical security, including three (3) years' experience in construction security of USG or commercial facilities
Working Environment

The ideal candidate will be able to work in an operationally sensitive environment, with a strong ability to work outdoors, in confined spaces, and with irregular schedules. The candidate must also be able to operate standard office equipment and function in a team environment.
