Hospitality Jobs Hotspot is seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Desk Clerk to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and handle guest inquiries.
- Resolve guest complaints and requests efficiently.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of hotel services and offerings.
- Take reservation requests and respond to switchboard calls with proper telephone etiquette.
- Block rooms and handle special requests.
- Monitor room availability and maintain a clean lobby and desk area.
- Familiarize yourself with emergency and security procedures.
- Offer and handle wake-up call requests.
- Clean guest rooms to standards and perform cash drops during shifts.
- Ensure accurate balancing of credit cards, cash, and change funds throughout each shift.
- Inform management of any guest or systems-related complaints or problems.
- Communicate maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist guests with luggage or packages weighing up to 40lbs.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions.
$42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
