Job Summary

Hospitality Jobs Hotspot is seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Desk Clerk to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle guest inquiries.
  • Resolve guest complaints and requests efficiently.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of hotel services and offerings.
  • Take reservation requests and respond to switchboard calls with proper telephone etiquette.
  • Block rooms and handle special requests.
  • Monitor room availability and maintain a clean lobby and desk area.
  • Familiarize yourself with emergency and security procedures.
  • Offer and handle wake-up call requests.
  • Clean guest rooms to standards and perform cash drops during shifts.
  • Ensure accurate balancing of credit cards, cash, and change funds throughout each shift.
  • Inform management of any guest or systems-related complaints or problems.
  • Communicate maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist guests with luggage or packages weighing up to 40lbs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions.
Salary

$42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
