Become a dedicated youth care specialist with TAG MedStaffing in Hampton, NJ. This role involves providing direct care to youth in Out of Home (OOH) settings, supporting their well-being while promoting health, hygiene, and trauma-informed care.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Part-Time Youth Care Nurse (LPN) to support our team in delivering high-quality care to our clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Nursing Care: Administer medications, assess physical conditions, and integrate findings into treatment plans.
- Support: Assist youth with daily living activities (ADLs) and accompany them to medical appointments.
- Education & Health: Educate youth and staff on health, hygiene, nutrition, and overall well-being.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation, including medication administration reports and progress notes.
- Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
- Licensure: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in New Jersey.
- Experience: 1 year of experience working with ID/DD youth.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy, excellent communication and judgment skills.
- Other: Valid NJ Driver's License with clean driving record.
