Head Boys Basketball Coach for 9th Grade

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated head coach to lead our boys' basketball team in the 9th grade. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of coaching at the secondary level, with a strong focus on developing the skills and teamwork of our young athletes.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire our students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor 9th-grade boys' basketball players
- Develop and implement game plans and strategies to ensure success on the court
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship and respect
- Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to support student-athlete development and academic achievement
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited program or university in Florida
- Florida Instructional Certification (any subject) or eligibility to obtain
- Two years of documented sport-specific and age-level coaching experience
- Strong knowledge of the sport at the competition level, with demonstrated leadership skills and management of large groups of students/athletes
Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
