Traveling Respiratory Therapist Position

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide quality patient care in a travel setting. As a member of our team, you will develop and implement patient plans of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
  • Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
  • Document patient care in a timely and accurate manner
  • Promote continuous quality improvement
  • Teach and counsel patients and families

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families

Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience
