At Resurgens Orthopaedics, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Practitioner to join our team as a Physician Assistant. This is a full-time position that requires working in multiple locations, including Keller and Grapevine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for practicing medicine under the supervision of a physician, conducting examinations, writing prescriptions, and providing a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting physical exams, assessing health status, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and treating illnesses, including giving injections, casting, and suturing wounds.
  • Providing surgical assistance in the operating room.
  • Monitoring therapies and providing continuity of care.
  • Triaging patient calls and evaluating patient problems, responding to emergencies, including use of CPR.
  • Counselling patients and families on preventive healthcare.
  • Documenting patient information and care in medical records and maintaining department statistical databases for research purposes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and successful completion of an accredited PA/NP program.
  • Four years of healthcare experience prior to applying to a PA/NP program, plus two years of experience as a PA/NP, preferably in a PMR clinic setting.
  • National certification from the National Commission on Certification of PAs.
  • State PA/NP license is also required.
  • Current CPR certificate is required.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
