Job Summary

The Rehabilitation Medicine Therapist, Physical Therapy role at University Hospital, Newark NJ, is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled professional to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate referred patients to implement and administer a comprehensive therapeutic intervention to restore and maximize function, relieve or reduce pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Recreational Therapy services to patients.
Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Recreational Therapy program.
Licensed as a PT, OT, Speech, or certified as Recreational Therapist in the State of New Jersey.
Maintain licensure in good standing and CPR certification.
