Mammography Technologist

At Solis Mammography, we are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. You will also support the general operation of the office and maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries
Support the general operation of the office
Maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique
Understand, promote and demonstrate the Solis Way
Consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique
Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health
Requirements:
Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program
Current certification by ARRT in Radiography
ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT
High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred
Must possess non-restricted licensure in state work location
Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software is preferred
