Quality Monitoring and Remediation Director

Grant Thornton is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Quality Monitoring and Remediation Director. This individual will be responsible for working with key stakeholders across the firm to validate our understanding of our Audit & Assurance System of Quality Management (SoQM).

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and provide an independent perspective on risks to our SoQM and consider evolving response needs.
• Perform investigative analyses of various quality events to assist with performing root cause and monitoring remedial actions to enhance the Firm's SoQM.
• Establish relationships with key stakeholders across the firm to understand quality risks, processes, and responses (firm policies and procedures) to ensure these are appropriately documented and tested.
• Provide training and supervision of less experienced colleagues providing consistent, regular feedback.
• Develop, lead and review the execution of monitoring plans ensure documentation is appropriate.
• Serve as a point of contact for a variety of System of Quality Management areas to aid in testing and issue management.
• Collaborate with other participants from within the GT Global Network on quality related matters.
• Maintain active communication with process/response owners to manage expectations, complete testing, and monitor remediation efforts.

Requirements:
• Current or prior external or internal audit, business risk or IT (Information Technology) controls experience.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Productivity Applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project, and SharePoint).
• Experience using other tools such as Smartsheet or Power BI, desired.

Benefits
Grant Thornton interns and seasonal employees are eligible to participate in the firm's medical, dental and vision insurance programs and the firm's employee assistance program. Interns also receive a minimum of 72 hours of paid sick leave, and are paid for firm holidays that fall within their internship period. Seasonal employees may also be eligible to participate in the firm's 401(k) savings plan and employee retirement plan in accordance with applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements. Seasonal employees receive a minimum of 72 hours of paid sick leave. Grant Thornton employees may be eligible for a discretionary, annual bonus based on individual and firm performance, subject to the terms, conditions and eligibility criteria of the applicable bonus plan or program. Interns and seasonal employees are not eligible for bonus compensation.
