Pharmacy Technician Job Summary

At Children's Wisconsin, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technician to join our Skywalk Pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer phones and gather contact and insurance information from patients
  • Process insurance claims and verify insurance coverage
  • Fulfill prescriptions and ensure patients receive the correct medications
  • Help maintain inventory and restock shelves
  • Work collaboratively with the Pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a pharmacy tech program preferred
  • Registered as a pharmacy technician in the State of Wisconsin
  • One year experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and concentrate on details
  • Ability to operate a computer and perform various tasks
