Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician - Second Shift is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including PMs, minor mechanical repairs, and equipment re-builds.
  • Facilities Management: Ensure the overall condition of the facilities, including internal and external infrastructure, is maintained to a high standard.
  • Project Work: Assist with fabrication, building equipment, and components for projects as required.
  • Lockout/Tagout Procedures: Maintain and enforce lockout/tagout procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Management team.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of maintenance experience required.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to Stand, Sit, Walk, Bend, Twist, Stoop, Pull, Push, Assemble, and Carry: Extended periods of time.
  • Lifting and Moving: Up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance.

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing Environment: Ability to work in a high-noise, dusty, chemical, oil, and grease environment.
  • Temperature and Humidity: Ability to work in hot, cold, or humid conditions.
