Medical Laboratory Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, evaluating results, and monitoring workflow to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood analysis and other diagnostic procedures
- Evaluate test results for clinical significance and validity
- Monitor workflow and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Provide training and technical assistance to laboratory staff
- Assist in the development of education and training protocols
Requirements:
- Medical Technologist (MT) certification issued by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
