Electrical Reliability Specialist

At NPAworldwide, we are seeking an Electrical Reliability Specialist to develop and implement reliability systems and processes that enhance the overall electrical equipment reliability of our site. This role will influence the site's culture to prioritize reliability in the design, operation, and maintenance of electrical assets. The successful candidate will provide the site with tools and systems to facilitate continuous reliability improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the RCM strategy for electrical equipment and oversee its implementation.
- Maintain and update the site's Asset Management Plans based on equipment failures, process changes, and Preventative Maintenance data.
- Steward, audit, and improve electrical equipment PM programs to ensure their health and effectiveness.
- Own and steward the site's predictive maintenance and condition monitoring program for electrical equipment.
- Act as the gatekeeper for new or modified PMs through the PM request and approval flow.
- Provide risk-based prioritization support for T&I work scope development.
- Investigate and document high-impact or high-potential-impact incidents involving electrical equipment.
- Offer reliability support and consultation for problem analysis, risk assessment, root cause analysis, etc., for critical equipment failures.
- Support the identification and improvement of site electrical equipment bad actors based on production loss and failure frequency.
- Perform design for reliability reviews for capital projects involving electrical equipment and apply reliability systems to relevant projects.
- Evaluate maintenance or capital project alternatives based on economic/risk analysis and life cycle cost analysis.
- Provide capital investment and expense project ideas based on reliability analysis and feedback from operations and other site personnel.
- Offer early input on project maintainability and reliability considerations to ensure major scope is not missed during project development.
- Develop risk-based improvement plans for electrical infrastructure.
- Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.
- Assist other employees in the accomplishment of site goals.
- Follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.
