Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-rays, computed tomography, and ultrasound technology. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct X-ray, ultrasound, and CT scans to diagnose medical conditions.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them correctly.
  • Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Document patient information and scan results accurately.
  • Provide clear explanations of treatments and answer patient questions.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to infection-control protocols and minimizing radiation exposure.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Radiology Technician, with recent experience in a clinical setting.
  • Unrestricted license or certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • PREFERRED: Experience working on military sites as a government subcontractor or prime contractor.
