Senior Care Companion

At Mill Pond Health Campus, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Companion to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Resident Care Associate is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with established procedures and may be directed by supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
- Assists with all aspects of meal service, including transportation of residents to and from the dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring a great dining experience.
- Answers resident call lights promptly and ensures that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
- Maintains communication with the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse to report any resident changes in condition, concerns, and grievances.
- Provides great customer service, companionship, communication, and engagement in activities.
- Assists clinical staff in making residents comfortable (e.g., checking sitting position, hydration passing, etc.).
- Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
- High School / GED
- 0-1 years of experience
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $25,000 - $30,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as weekly pay, health, vision, dental, and life insurance after one month of employment.
