- Our ICU Nurse Specialists practice according to the ANA Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice, utilizing the nursing process components of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- They engage in professional activities, including leadership, education, evidence-based practice, and research, adhering to the ANA Standards of Professional Performance.

RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you must have:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN preferred.
- A current BCLS certification or obtain it within one month of hire.
- Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
- Clinical specialty certification is highly encouraged.
One year of acute care RN experience is required, with ICU experience being a plus. This position is covered by the Connecticut Healthcare Associates Collective Bargaining Agreement.
