Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician

As a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in our organization by enforcing food safety policies and procedures, collaborating with other departments to resolve issues, and conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with USDA/HACCP regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve food safety and quality issues
  • Lead incident and complaint investigations and responses
  • Monitor adherence to USDA/HACCP regulations for sanitation
  • Perform audits and process inspections for sanitation, quality, and food safety
  • Support change management requests and implementations
  • Train team members for backup or alternate shift coverage
  • Verify the effectiveness of preventive measures and corrective actions
  • Escalate issues to the FSQA supervisor when needed
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one-three years of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow instructions
  • Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence
