Salary Range

The base pay range for this position is $42,740 to $53,430 per year, depending on relevant experience, education level, and location. Compensation will be tailored to fit your qualifications and meet the expectations of this role.

Job Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist at Cortica, you will play a vital role in enhancing child development through:

  • Establishing occupational therapy goals through assessments and consultation with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborating on treatment plans and integrative strategies to promote sensory processing, regulation, and skill development.
  • Providing individual therapy sessions, group therapy, and co-treatment sessions with other disciplines as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to federal and state regulations, and ensuring excellent standard of care.
  • Developing and implementing play-based and goal-oriented interventions to support daily occupations.
  • Facilitating functional experiences to target and achieve individualized goals.
  • Designing strategies to help individuals engage in activities of daily living.
  • Collaborating with patients and their families to understand their values, interests, and goals.
  • Implementing programming that considers various aspects of each child, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A master's degree in a related field.
  • A current and unrestricted license or certification required to practice within your clinical domain.
  • Excellent clinical skills.
  • A willingness to work in a dynamic multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Flexibility and openness to learning.
  • An appreciation for diverse therapeutic approaches.
  • A passion for working with children.
  • Proficiency in software and systems, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office products.
