Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Care Coordinator at Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient care on a unit during their shift, assessing patients' needs, planning and implementing effective care plans, and evaluating the outcomes of care provided. Additionally, they will manage assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment, promoting collaboration with all members of the healthcare team.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Implement and evaluate care plans to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Manage and supervise assigned personnel, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to provide excellent patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care activities

Requirements:

  • A current Board of North Carolina License
  • BLS certification
  • A nursing degree from an accredited institution
  • De-escalation Training within 30 days of hire

Physical Demands:

The ideal candidate must possess a full range of body motion, including the ability to walk, kneel, stand, push, pull, bend, stoop, reach, and sit for extended periods. They must also be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
