Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska.

This role requires the ability to work extended hours and travel extensively, often with little notice. As your skills develop, you may also be asked to travel internationally.

The Field Service Technician will provide real-time technical support, including mechanical, electrical, and programming assistance, to resolve customer issues while maintaining financial and resource balance for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing concerns and needs.
  • Provide real-time technical support, including mechanical, electrical, and programming assistance.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently, maintaining financial and resource balance.
  • Assist with the return and analysis of parts from customers.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers, communicating issues, concerns, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and ship necessary parts to customers.
  • Train and educate customers on the use and application of our products.
  • Document customer concerns in the Quality Assurance NCP/CAPA database.
  • Use CRM/ERP/Inventory software to document communications, parts sales, and incidents.
  • Complete installation parts lists and related reports when serving as a field technician.

Training and Compensation:

  • Training: $22-$25/hour.
  • Raises based on evaluations at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year.
  • Pay expectations: Year 1-2: $60-$70K, Year 3+: $80-$110K.

Additional Information:

  • Report to: Lead on-site.
  • Team size: Initially travel with one person, then independently once trained.
  • Paid for every hour on the clock, including flight time.

Our estimated salary range for this position is $45,760 - $52,000 per year.
