About the Role
This position requires a certified nursing assistant (CNA) with clerical skills to provide support to our nursing units. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently. They will be responsible for facilitating the flow of the nursing units, communicating information, and transcribing physician orders under the supervision of an RN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist RNs in providing patient care based on psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and age-specific needs.
  • Perform various clerical, receptionist, and administrative support functions for the nursing unit.
  • Facilitate workflow in the nursing units, communicate information, and transcribe physician orders under the supervision of an RN.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this role is $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and wellness programs, as well as an excellent retirement package with up to 6% employer contribution. Additionally, you will receive generous earned time off and tuition reimbursement after one year of service.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a completion of an OSBN-approved CNA-2 training program, knowledge of medical terminology gained through education or experience in a healthcare setting, and previous CNA and/or clerical experience. You must also be certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) as a CNA 2 and hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Working Environment
This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis and perform other physical demands associated with the job.
