Job Overview

Country Paint & Hardware is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment, ensuring accurate inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and unload merchandise
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with purchases and loading items into their vehicles
  • Deliver merchandise to customer homes
  • Dispense propane
  • Take ownership of your workspace and maintain a clean, organized warehouse
  • Identify opportunities for new products and revenue streams
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is in safe, optimal working order
  • Continuously improve efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain accurate inventory and ensure shelves are well-stocked and properly faced
  • Work closely with the inventory manager to keep the sales floor stocked
  • Participate in seasonal changeovers and collaborate with the inventory manager
  • Safely and legally operate loading and unloading equipment, including forklifts and tractors
  • Handle physical tasks, including lifting/moving up to 100 pounds
  • Assist with other projects as they arise
  • Support team members as needed

Requirements:

  • Clean driving record
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to be certified)
  • Willingness to be trained on propane dispensing and tractor operation
  • Pride in producing high-quality work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn procedures
  • Strong judgment and attention to detail
  • Commitment to excellence
