Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Methodist Healthcare Ministries. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

About the Role
  • Perform clinical intake and assessments to determine patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians or healthcare providers.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on health conditions, self-care, and disease management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and address any concerns or issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in nursing from an accredited program and licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of Texas.
  • At least two years of experience in a hospital, clinical setting, or related field is preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret medical documents, procedure manuals, and safety guidelines.
  • Basic Life Support Certification is preferred and must be obtained within three months of hire.

Work Environment

The work environment for this role is fast-paced and dynamic, with direct contact with patients and their families. You will be expected to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds, stand for periods of time, and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, and walking.
