About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in providing treatment and exercise instruction to patients in their homes, aimed at improving their well-being and enhancing their quality of life.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build trusted relationships with patients, provide continuing education and tuition reimbursement opportunities, and experience independence and autonomy in your work. Responsibilities
  • Perform treatment and provide exercise instruction to patients in their homes, following established plans of care.
  • Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
  • Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in their condition to supervising PTs, nurse supervisors, and physicians.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare team members as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a current license to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of practice, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on national averages and location. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a range of benefits to support your health, well-being, and financial security.
