Job Summary

The Cook at Denny's is responsible for preparing and presenting food to order, adhering to company menu and food specifications and timing standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food to order, following established company brand standards and recipe specifications.
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coolers and storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory management and deliveries as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest needs in a timely and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • Must have basic math skills and be able to understand units of measure.
  • Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout a 4-to-8-hour shift.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and possess excellent guest service skills.
