Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of dishes, from soups and salads to main courses and desserts. This is a fast-paced environment where you will need to work efficiently and accurately to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and cooks a range of hot food products, including meats, fish, vegetables, and soups
  • Prepares and portions food products prior to cooking
  • Performs other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation, including plating and garnishing of cooked items
  • Prepares appropriate garnishes for all menu item plates

Requirements:

  • Experience in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
