**Responsibilities:**

Under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, the PTA will implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities. This will involve:

• Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and goals

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to maximize functionality and promote optimal outcomes

• Providing direct patient care, including exercises, manual therapies, and other interventions as needed

• Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop care plans

**Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

• CPR certification

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently

**Compensation:**

This is a part-time position with PRN options available. The hourly rate for this role is $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
