Job Summary:

As a Nurse at Spectrum Health Systems, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include administering medication to incarcerated patients enrolled in the Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Program, triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder, and controlling, counting, and administering medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Administer medication to patients in the MAT Program
Triage patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder
Control, count, and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulations

Requirements:

Valid MA nursing license from an accredited school
Current CPR certification or obtain certification within 90 days of hire
Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred
DOC experience preferred
