Food Safety Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer/Food Safety Tech to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct boxes and pack them manually or with the help of automated machines.
- Perform regular bag quality checks to ensure product standards.
- Prepare and conduct dry wipes/wet washes on manufacturing equipment during the changeover process.
- Maintain housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required.
- Assist with troubleshooting case erector faults as needed.
- Lead and execute the changeover process to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
- Perform seasoning accumulation checks and clean as necessary.
- Take ownership of Product Safety Management (PSM) inspections to ensure compliance.
- Monitor product flow to ensure food safety and quality by staying vigilant and proactive in identifying any potential food safety risks or quality issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or packaging environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Ability to work effectively and take initiative both independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
This is a physical job that requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. You will be required to work on some weekends, holidays, and off-shifts.
