About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Nurse Specialist to join our team at UCHealth. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, focusing on maintaining a safe environment, optimizing outcomes, and maximizing resources.
  • Procedural Support: Perform and document pre/post and procedural monitoring, providing specialized nursing care to complex patients in a dynamic environment.
  • Critical Thinking: Respond to life-threatening situations using established protocols and nursing standards for treatment.
  • Patient Education: Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or family members, providing education and support as needed.
Requirements

This role requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so you must be able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage your time efficiently.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that this is not a guaranteed salary and may vary based on individual circumstances.
