Assemblage Specialist

Job Summary
MAT Industries is seeking a skilled Heavy Assembly/Production professional to join our team in Jackson, TN. This role involves assembling various mechanical and electro-mechanical parts or components of the air compressor or pressure tank to produce high-quality products for our customers.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include repetitive assembly of mechanical or electro-mechanical components produced on the assembly line, building quality units at a reasonable pace, and following simple assembly instructions. Additionally, this role requires cross-training jobs, rotating positions, reading blueprints and bills of material, lifting materials and product up to 40 lbs, operating air tools, hoists, and hand tools, and being a team player.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a solid work history, good communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints and bills of material. Preference will be given to candidates with assembly line experience and mechanical ability. You must also be willing to work overtime and be flexible in your department to help wherever needed.

Physical Demands
This role requires standing 100% of the time, using reaching/pulling 75% of the time, and the ability to lift 40 lbs 50% of the time. You must also be able to see close up/distance 100% of the time and walk 40% of the time.

Estimated Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, vacation time, personal/sick time, and a $1000 sign-on bonus after 120 days of employment. Benefits are effective on the 60th day of employment.
