Patient Care Associate

This role is responsible for providing support to clinical team members in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient admission and ensure a smooth transition to care.
- Participate in administering patient care and maintain a safe and comforting environment.
- Respond to patient needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meals, bathing, and hygiene needs.
- Perform range of motion exercises and progressive ambulation as directed by a registered nurse.
- Transport patients as needed and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Report changes in patient condition to the registered nurse in a timely manner.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- CNA, MA, or paramedic certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Minimum of one year patient care experience in a nursing home or hospital setting.
