About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on patients' lives while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Job Summary

As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, your primary focus will be to deliver high-quality patient care to individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues, as well as eating disorders. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary treatment team to provide comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and interventions tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric assessment and referral services (PARS)
  • Assist in patient care with our outpatient partial hospitalization program (PHP)
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team model
  • Perform inpatient evaluations, medical evaluations
  • Offer individual, family, and group therapy as well as outpatient treatment options at time of discharge
  • Care for voluntary and involuntary patients
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree preferred
  • RN License in the State of NH or valid Compact State
  • BLS (American Heart Association BLS Provider or Red Cross BLS)
