Elderwood Speech-Language Therapist Position

As a Speech-Language Pathologist with our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. Your expertise will be utilized to develop and implement personalized speech-language therapy plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities of this role include conducting thorough assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with colleagues to provide comprehensive care. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, attending care planning meetings, and participating in in-service training programs to stay up-to-date with best practices.
To be successful in this position, you will need to possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a state license to practice, and clinical competence certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.

Required Qualifications:
- M.A. or M.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school
- State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association (preferred)
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Current, valid CPR/BLS credential
- Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others
