Pioneer Resources, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is seeking a motivated Senior Programs Coordinator to join our team. About the Role

The Senior Programs Coordinator will be responsible for the overall administration, coordination, evaluation, and reporting for the Senior Recreation Programs and Leisure & Recreation Club programs. This includes planning and implementing senior programs, LARC programs, LARC vacations, and LARC annual camps.

  • Hire, schedule, and supervise Recreational Aides to ensure quality services to individuals served.
  • Work closely with other community agencies to provide communication and information about programs, promoting partnerships and collaborations.
  • Organize and produce a quarterly schedule of events for LARC and Seniors, including budgeting, event planning, and marketing.

Requirements
  • An Associate's degree in Human Service, Business Administration, or other equivalent degree preferred, and at least 2 years' experience working in the human service field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read and write English and comprehend written instructions.
  • A valid Michigan driver's license, three (3) or more years of driving experience, less than six (6) points, and no exclusionary violations on driving record.

This is a part-time position working approximately 29 hours or less a week, with variable hours required for after-work training or meetings. Remote work is available when events are not taking place.
