We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Preoperative Recovery department at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake.

Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients in the post-anesthesia period, applying critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership to independently deliver safe care. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality outcomes, demonstrating teamwork, adaptability, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Care for and manage surgical patients in the post-anesthesia period.
- Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe care.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
- Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a PACU Recovery room setting required.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License required.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
