We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cleaner to join our team at ABM Industries. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain buildings/facilities to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Notify management concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, coworkers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to our company's health and safety policies.
  • Perform other incidental tasks as assigned by management.

 

Requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • No prior cleaning experience is required; we provide on-the-job training.
  • You do not need a high school diploma, GED, or college degree.
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred but not necessary.

About the Role:

This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be interacting with clients, colleagues, and management daily. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are also essential for success in this role.

 

Estimated Salary Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour. Please note that salary may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications.
