About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our extraordinary care team at JM Chandler Dream Builders. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with our experienced healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement patient care plans to promote independence and well-being
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding and compliance with care plans
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a school with an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association in collaboration with the American Occupational Therapy Association
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist issued by the state in which you will be working
  • Minimum of one year healthcare experience
  • Current drivers license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations
  • A commitment to consistently meet critical deadlines for charting
  • The skills needed to self-manage your time and schedule
  • Demonstrated experience with tablets, mobile phones and EMR software
