Job Overview

Anthony Scotto Restaurants is seeking a talented Broiler Cook to join our culinary team at one of our fine dining establishments. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing food to the chefs' specifications and setting up menu stations.

Compensation & Benefits

The successful candidate can expect an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, plus revenue-based quarterly bonuses, comprehensive health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 401K plan, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

Your primary duties as a Broiler Cook will include:

  • Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Preparing food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
  • Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answering, reporting, and following executive or sous chef's instructions
  • Cleaning up station and taking care of leftover food
  • Stocking inventory appropriately
  • Ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
  • Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a broiler cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Proven experience in a fine dining establishment
  • Incredible food preparation abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Deep knowledge of fine dining and industry-leading trends
  • Impeccable time management skills
  • Creative menu knowledge and development skills
