About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) Nurse Specialist to join our team at Dreamville Staffing. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under limited supervision, provide care coordination services for patients eligible for the medication assisted therapy program.
  • Serve as the primary nursing oversight for the medication assisted therapy program for the inmate population.
  • Assist the jail health administrator in developing and implementing program policies and procedures related to the service and support for evidence-based treatment of substance use disorders.
  • Overssee nursing activities, education, and training in providing nursing support services to the inmate population for substance use disorders.
  • Work in an environment with detainees and inmates.
  • Report to the Director of Nurses.
Requirements
  • ADN-Registered Nursing Licensure required upon hire and for duration of employment.
  • 1 year of nursing experience with an administrative background or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
  • CPR certificate required upon hire and duration of employment.
  • Valid North Carolina driver's license required upon hire and duration of employment.
  • Must take and successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, as well as submit to random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident drug and alcohol testing.
