About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant I to join our team at the Medicine Progressive Care Unit (MPCU) at UNC Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine direct and indirect patient care in a hospital, clinic, or home health care setting.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures.
  • Observe, collect, and document patient information obtained while providing care.
  • Provide assistance to patients and their families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
  • Perform various tasks such as measuring vital signs, height and weight, specimen collection, and skin preps/scrubs.
Requirements
  • Listing as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Prefer six (6) months of nursing assistant experience.
